Eighty percent of my clients identify as perfectionists and the other 20% realize they’re perfectionists once they realize it’s about being safe and not taking risks to rock the boat, disappoint people or competing with other people’s body and standards.
If the idea of leaving perfection behind to pursue freedom lights you up, you’ll love today’s episode. I wanted to have my client Breanne Ward on so you can see the breakthrough results possible when you replace perfectionism with something more effective.
This is obviously easier said than done. Breanne has done the work to embody a growth mindset and she’s graciously agreed to share here how she achieved this around food, her body and health.
You’ll want to especially pay attention to the questions she discovered she had to ask to leave perfection behind and the big cultural myth she discovered was keeping her (and so many women I know) in overwhelm and not having the capacity to take care of her body.
