There is no magic pill for weight loss; however, there are easy things you can change ASAP that don’t require a lot of effort to reduce cravings and keep you motivated in pursuing increasingly levels of vitality and yes, weight loss.
Here are a couple of the tips highlighted in this Insatiable episode:
#1: Drink your morning caffeine with or after breakfast. This helps to stabilize your blood sugar so that you don’t become ravenously hungry in the early morning and come to mid-morning or lunch craving all the carbs.
#2. Eat breakfast within an hour of waking up*. Often clients think they’re being “good” if they ride out their hunger, only to find themselves at Starbucks at 10 a.m. eyeing the coffee cake. Work out in the morning? Be sure to eat breakfast within the hour after working out!

And like most listeners, you will be shocked at tip #5, and even celebrate if you’re like me and struggle with being consistent with exercise. Learning this tip years ago helped me end my own overeating/ over exercising battle.
